Jonathan's Mitzvah Project

Support my Best Buddies Friendship Walk in 2025!

In 2024, I participated in Best Buddy activities at my school, joined the Best Buddies Friendship Walk in 2024, and with the help from family and friends, was able to raise $1,000. I can't wait to walk again in 2025 and raise more money for this great cause.

Dear Family and Friends,

During sixth grade I cheered on and played games with students with disabilities during my gym class. I also helped these same students during the school-wide Best Buddies program. A few of the Best Buddies programs that took place during the school year included reading and board games with a buddy, painting with a buddy, and making friendship bracelets with a buddy. Doing these activities really warmed my heart because I knew that I was making a difference.

As part of my Bar Mitzvah project, I expanded my impact by supporting kids with autism and developmental disabilities locally and nationally. On April 28, 2024, I participated in a Best Buddies Friendship Walk. The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Thanks to the support from family and friends, I was able to raise $1,000 for the Best Buddies organization. During the walk, I had an awesome time helping and supporting the people with disabilities. I will continue to support the Best Buddies program, and hope to attend other events in the near future.

Thank you!
Jonathan
